The weekly meeting of the Ministry of Communication and Technology was convened today at the Ministry’s headquarters, under the chairmanship of the Honourable Minister of Communication and Technology, H.E. Mohamed Adan Mohamud (Soomaali). The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Ministry along with all departmental heads.
The agenda of the meeting focused on accelerating the Ministry’s key initiatives, reviewing the plans and activities for the new year, 2025. The Honourable Minister also received comprehensive reports from the directors of various departments, who provided updates on the progress of their respective tasks and outlined their near-term objectives.
Additionally, the meeting highlighted the significant achievements of the Ministry during the previous year, 2024, which served as a foundation for setting ambitious goals for the year ahead.
During the proceedings, H.E. Minister Mohamed Soomali urged the directors to strengthen collaboration, enhance operational efficiency, and dedicate additional effort to implementing the Ministry’s strategic priorities. Furthermore, the Minister emphasized the importance of delivering high-quality services that address societal needs and align with the advancement of the nation’s technological infrastructure.
The Ministry of Communication and Technology reaffirms its commitment to making 2025 a year of transformative progress. This will be achieved by prioritizing innovation and modern technological services that will benefit the Somali population.
