The senior leadership of the Ministry of Communications and Technology, led by H.E. Mohamed Adam Moalim Ali, the Honourable Minister, participated in the Accountability Forum for All Ministries and National Agencies, which officially opened at the Office of the Prime Minister in Mogadishu. The forum will run for three days.
The Minister was accompanied by the State Minister, the Deputy Minister, and the Director General of the Ministry, along with the heads of the agencies under the Ministry, including the National Communications Authority (NCA) and the Data Protection Authority (DPA).
This forum is part of the Federal Government’s continued efforts to promote transparency, accountability, and good governance. It provides an opportunity for each ministry and national agency to present their performance report for the quarter spanning January to June 2025. Institutions are expected to highlight progress in implementing the government’s political programme, outline achievements from their annual work plans, and address the challenges they face.
The opening ceremony was officially inaugurated by H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, with the full Cabinet of Ministers in attendance. In his remarks, the Prime Minister underscored that accountability is a cornerstone of good governance, transparency, and fairness in public service delivery.
