𝗠𝗼𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗵𝘂, June 16, 2024- Mr. Abdiaziz Duwane Isaaq, the Director General of the Ministry of Communications and Technologies, alongside Mr. Mohamed Abdullahi Goosaar, Director of the Department of the National Institute of Communications and Technologies, participated in the closing ceremony and exhibition of the Ramadan Coding Challenge program.
The event, organized by the MTI Institute of Innovation and Technology, is in its second year and engages Somali youth in applying modern technology skills to solve pressing national issues. This year, the challenge focused on creating technology-driven solutions to combat climate change and environmental pollution.
Mr.Abdiaziz Duwane praised the MTI Institute for its dedication in organizing the Ramadan Coding Challenge for the second consecutive year. He highlighted the capability of locally educated youth to utilize technology in addressing societal problems.
Additionally, the Ministry of Communications and Technologies plans to provide training for young people and ICT professionals this year, further enhancing their skills and contributions to the nation’s technological advancement.
