Mogadishu, Sunday, August 18, 2024—The Minister of Communications and Technology of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hon. Mohamed Adam Moalim Ali (Somali), today participated in the Governing Council meeting of the Somali National University, presided over by the Minister of Education, Culture, and Higher Education, Hon. Farah Sheikh Abdulqadir. The session convened at the University’s KM4 Campus in Mogadishu.
The meeting was attended by the President of the Somali National University, his deputies, and several distinguished ministers from the federal government.
As a member of the Governing Council, Hon. Mohamed Somali commended the leadership of the Ministry of Education and the University’s administration for their unwavering commitment to enhancing and expanding higher education services at the Somali National University. He further praised the commendable progress made by the University and expressed his appreciation for the strategic initiatives and plans that have been instituted for its continued advancement.
The meeting featured comprehensive presentations, including detailed reports and visual documentation, chronicling the achievements of the University over the past decade, from 2014 to 2024, and outlining the diverse priority projects envisaged for the future.
