Mogadishu- April, 21, 2020…… Minister of the Ministry of Communications and Technology of FGS H.E. MP. Mohamed Adan Moalim Ali (Somali) met today with the Heads and Officers of the Eastern Africa Regional Digital Integration Project (EA-RDIP).
Mr. Abdul Aziz Shire, project coordinator, enlightened to the minister the objectives and importance of this project, as it will play a vital role in integrating commercial relations and ensuring and protecting privacy laws, cross-border data and Internet connectivity.
The Minister of Communications, H.E. MP. Mohamed Somali, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for the great work that has been accomplished compared to the counterpart’s countries in this project, as Somali government has reached an impressive level.
The Eastern Africa Digital Integration Project (EA-RDIP) focuses on developing modern communications, developing and strengthening the Institute of Communications and Technology, re-establishing the national postal service and promoting e-commerce in the country.
