Mogadishu, Tuesday, August 20, 2024:— The Minister of Communications and Technology of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hon. Mohamed Adan Moalim Ali (Somali) participated in the Magan Forum on Investment Analysis, which was officially closed by the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre.
The purpose of the Magan Forum is to create an open environment for the exchange of ideas and the presentation of effective investment plans, aimed at achieving Somalia’s goal of becoming an attractive destination for investment.
In his address to the Forum, Minister Mohamed emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and Somali business communities in advancing the country’s investment sector. He highlighted that such cooperation is essential for achieving sustainable development and harnessing the country’s natural resources.
The Ministry of Communications and Technology, under the Dan-Qaran Administration, is actively working on plans to enhance the country’s economic infrastructure. These plans include facilitating the provision of high-speed internet across the regions of Somalia and to neighboring countries, thereby promoting investment opportunities.
