Mogadishu, June 30, 2024: The Minister of Communication and Technology, Mr. Mohamed Adam Moalim Ali (Somalia) , officially inaugurated the Mogadishu Technology summit , focused on job creation through education and skills development. The event was attended by various government officials, university heads, and representatives from civil society.
In his address, the Minister emphasized the importance of technology in skill development, stating, “We aim to leverage technology to develop skills, enabling our youth and others to escape unemployment.” He expressed gratitude to the iRise Organization for organizing the conference and to all who supported this significant initiative.
