The Minister of Communications and Technology opened the 4th consultation Meeting of the Ministry of Communications and Technologies of FGS and the Ministries of Communications of the Member States of the Federal Government and Benadir Region.
The 4th Consultation Meeting of the Ministry of Communications and Technology of FGS and the Ministries of Communications of the Member States of the Federal Government and Benadir Region has opened in Mogadishu and will hold from 12 to 16 June 2023.
The Consultation Meeting organized by the Ministry of Communication and Technology (MoCT) of the Federal Government of Somalia, and was officially opened by the Minister of Communication and Technology of FGS Mr. Jama Hassan Khalif.
The purpose of this Consultation Meeting was to have cooperation and agreement among ministries of the same nature of mandate at the federal level and member states of the FGS, and attended by the Deputy Minister Mr. Hussein Ahmed Culusow, Minister of Posts, Communications and Technology of Jubaland Mr. Rashid Mohamed Duale, Minister of Posts, Communications and Technology of the Southwest, Mr. Abdullahi Sheikh Dahir, Minister of Posts, Communications and Technology of Galmudug & MP. Mr. Muhyadin Sh Abdullahi Osman, Minister of Posts, Communications and Technology of Hir-Shabelle Mr. A/fitah Hassan Farah, Director General of MoCT Mr. A/Asis Duwane Isaaq, Director of the National Communications Agency Mr. Mustafa Yasin Sheikh, MoCT Advisors, Directors General and Directors of the Departments of the Ministries of Communication at the Federal and the member states level of FGS.
The Minister of Communications Mr. Jama Hassan Khalif explained the purpose of the Consultation Meeting. “The purpose of this Meeting was for the Ministries of the federal and the member states level of the FGS to have cooperation and agreement to strengthen the national duty of the country. We thank you for your respectable participation in the conference. and it has a special priority for us.” said Minister Jama.
The Consultation Meeting will last for four days and at the end a statement of understanding will be issued.
