Mogadishu April, 20, 2025…… The newly appointed Minister of the Ministry of Communications and Technology H.E. Hon. Mohamed Adam Moalim Ali (Somali) along with the Minister of State of the Ministry H.E. Hon. Ahmed Osman Diriye held an introductory meeting today with Director General of the Ministry and Directors of the Departments. During the meeting, the Minister listened to a comprehensive report on the ministry’s activities and strategic plans, accomplished tasks, as well as ongoing vital undertakings of the ministry for the nation. The Director General of the Ministry presented all the information and reports of the Ministry, and reviewed each of the departments separately, highlighted the work they carry out, and their importance within the framework of the Ministry.The newly appointed Minister of Communications and Technology, H.E. Hon. Mohamed Somali, emphasized his commitment that the ministry’s activities will continue its endeavours, and each department is required to accelerate their duties. In his address, the Minister said, The Ministry of Communications and Technology is the highest federal government agency charged with formulating national policies, laws and regulations related to telecommunications and information and communications technology (ICT).
